SEWA urges public to report damaged transformers

SEWA is currently making all efforts to upgrade their services to bring it up to date.

Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) has urged the public to report about any damaged or opened distribution and transformation box/room, located in residential areas. Sewa staff will immediately visit the area and fix the damaged box or room to ensure the safety of residents.

Rashid Al Leem, chairperson of SEWA, said that the maintenance staff would be working 24 hours a day and seven days a week to attend to emergency calls and address problems that could affect resident's safety. He stressed that SEWA is continuing its maintenance services in all areas of Sharjah and replacing old cables, transformers and distributors.

SEWA is currently making all efforts to upgrade their services to bring it up to date. In order to ensure best services, we require the cooperation of public who can report on 991 at any time, he added.
